s550 - SPORT MODE + PADDLESHIFTER?
i never use sport mode, maybe on accident if i hit it.
do i see any issues in the future from driving in S instead of C?
additionally, would using the paddleshifts for highway driving or even small street driving be an issue in the future? would this cause any mechanical issues later on?

I NEVER drive in "C" all it does it starts the car in 2nd gear so it appears smoother.
Additionally, I believe comfort mode lift the rear a little higher but the car feels boatier, as if it isn't boating in "S"
I don't believe it makes any difference in the vehicle performance when paddle shifting in S or C cause you're in control of when to shift.
I did use the paddle shift and drove the car pretty hard a couple months ago on a road trip competing with my brothers 911's didn't stand a chance but I hung in there. Would I do it daily? probably not, the more often you run your engine at high RPM the more chance you'll break something.
