What's an '07 S 600 worth?
I'm planning on selling my blk/blk S 600 with 50,000 miles on it and 15 months left on the MB factory warranty. Perfect showroom condition.
Any idea what it's worth? The dealers aren't interested since it's not new enough. While the S550's are common, there are very few V12's around.

I would say your car is worth between $41k and $43k
$36k - $41k kbb private party
$29k - $35k edmunds trade to retail
$31k - $41k nada trade to retail
$39k - $49k autotrader high to low
$41k - $49k cars high to low
Similar cars for sale :

Good luck !

Thanks! It's amazing how much these S classes depreciate. They never talk about that in the new car showrooms.
Perhaps the salesmen should ask each customer how much they want to lose rather than which car they want...

I used to have a 03 CL600 for an year; amazing car with ton of low end torque. The total cost of one year ownership was over $19k (including depreciation); YIKES! I should have run it to ground vs. trading it in. It was a true sleeper.
600 and 65AMG model take most beating by depreciation. And they are really hard to get rid of or trade in for pennies (demand & supply even with limited # of availability). It is really hard for the dealers to move them off the lot too.
CARMAX gives free appraisals (auction value), I would expect to sell it for that +2-3K, just my 02 cents if in excellent condition.

Get a load of this as benchmark...http://wwwa.autotrader.ca/a/Mercedes...howcpo=ShowCPO
I was freaking out as I bought my 08 S600 for about $55K with full warranty...I've been sleeping with one eye open waiting for something to seriously go wrong , but apparently these cars sell for peanuts these days.

S65 AMG had the steepest depreciation curve. Not much has changed. I have seen 4-5 yr old examples listing for 75-80k. The original car was at almost 200k. Talk abt depreciation.
