TPMS: Reset position of wheels?

Just had new tires put on and now the computer seems to be confused about which wheels are where. It thinks the left front is on the rear and the rear is on the front.

I know this because the sensor on the front tire was removed (broken) but the computer shows the missing sensor on the rear wheel.

Is there a way to recalibrate so it finds the correct position of the wheels?

Thanks!

So, do all four wheels now have a TPMS sensor? I rotate my tires and install winters (mounted on their own wheels) and have never had to recalibrate anything. I am guessing that there must be something else wrong with the TPMS. How do you break a TPMS sensor? Do you mean it went bad? In any event, the TireRack has a set of four TPMS sensors for MB cars for about $250 (I am remembering correctly). Might be worthwhile to replace all four. There is a place under tire pressure to use the current settings, but there should not be a need to reconfigure anything. Just drive for a few minutes.

I just need to replace the stem (it was corroded and broke off). Should have it reinstalled later today. Maybe with all 4 installed again it will figure it out. <hope>

Just reset with steering knob and drive for a while. It should reset itself. Sometimes it may take several days to eventually correct itself.
