Sport+1 Need Advice on Tires
I have a 2013 S550 with 8,000 miles in South Florida. The tires are 20 inch Continental Sport Contact 2 high performance summer tires. They are showing wear and are noisy even at slow speeds. But I need to replace due to noise. Tire Rack said that these summer tires have softer tread which makes them noisier and that they get noisier as they wear and particularly if they wear unevenly which mine did until I got alignment. However, the ride with them is excellent in sport mode which I use all of the time. Great on speed bumps too which I have in my community.
Tire Rack has suggested using all season tires either Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 or Hankook Ventus S1 noble2. Anyone have any thoughts on these or other tires as replacement. Criteria are noise reduction and I still want to keep the great ride and comfort in going over speed bumps.

Great choice sir. My s550 4matic has Michelin tyres as well.
My summer set Vellano 22", I have continental DW tyres. They are also great. I have them around 10k miles so far. I've not noticed any road noise that more than reasonable. You're right about your bend rim and not properly aligned. Enjoy your hot weather.
We are getting 10-12" of snow now in our region, the home of New England Patriots.
