Front license plate suggestions?

In PA, you don't need a front plate, and I don't like to run one... But, this car came from NY so I have no choice. The dealer gave me a Mercedes plate, but I was thinking of maybe doing a euro front plate. Any suggestions? Or keep what I have...

Prefer no tag but if I had no choice the one you have on would be it.

With those seals in between JB and Benz. Vertical on top of each other.

You could remove the plate cover completely, then replace the screws back into the bumper and cover the screws with the chrome screw pop on covers. That's if u can live with having two chrome Buttons on ur bumper but it does match the grill.

See how this plate has slight bend in the middle. May need a bracket that's bent it like our bumpers so it fits better.

Or maybe it just bends to conform when tight.

Hey Wil. I thought of that and the first thing I did was remove the black bracket and its Swiss cheese under there:

And yes. All of those holes are being used for that darn bracket/plate.

My last car, only had two holes in the front and I used the chrome caps you were talking about.

Just a thought but I had mine removed, refinished, and repainted for under $250.00. Had several chips and some peeling I wanted fixed. Great results.

I wouldnt paint any parts of the car unless there was actual damage for several reasons.

LOL, you've convinced me! Wait, what are some of your reasons?
It's a bumper, not a panel so there is no blending (at least not for me) . I can't tell it was painted except I don't have the chips or clear coat peel before I had it done. It's just an option....

I think he means because it will never be as perfect as when the factory did it, and will be more chip prone. Also, if you have diamond white, it's next to impossible to get a perfect match unless you blend into panels.

I guess if you did re-paint, you could clear bra it after to make it less chip prone.

Bend and bracket....

On Ebay, you can get these custom pressed and you get a plastic bracket (actual EU Mercedes/BMW?, I think). Attach with existing screws (plenty of places in the bracket... SLIGHTLY bend the plate over your knee and press into the bracket (plastic and flexible.) It snaps closed to hold the plate. GREAT result and nice way to cover the holes (I moved from MA to FL and in FL we don't need the front plate)...

No choice when your car came from a state that requires a plate and has the bracket there.

My vote is to keep your current. I like the less ostentatious, more classy look...

It's also required in CA but many of the MB, Porsche, & BMWs dealerships will ask at the time of purchase if the customer would like to have the front plate holder installed. if not they just throw them in the trunk.

Yep, and I noticed there is a line on the build data sheet that designates that.
