How to crack open the S65 DRL?
I am in the process of fitting the aftermarket S65 body kit (the same one that many members have) to my W221. However, one of the DRLs isn't working. After testing with a multimeter, it shows an open circuit (unlike the other side), which probably means that either a wire or a solder joint is loose/broke inside the DRL.
So now the question is, how to I open up the DRL?
It doesn't SEEM to use the same glue as general headlights so I am not sure if baking works. And if not, is the only way cutting around the edges with a knife?
And a separate question... what value of resistors do you guys use for these? I'm getting conflicting information.
Thanks.
