Accessory Power?
I suspect this question has been asked/answered previously, however, I've not been able to locate a sufficient post…
Is there an accessory power tap in a fuse panel for hard-wiring 12-volt accessories such as dash cam, radar detector, etc. near the driver and/or rear seat? If so, can you specify the panel location and plug?
Thanks in advance.

another thread the answer is must be easy and thosunds of folks read this forum for w221 which fuse can be used for dash cam or radar detector
for dash cam need a uninterrupted power when car is parking mode (no battery drain most of camera has power cut off at 11.8v)

Yeah I checked my 2010 and I just have a tap in the right dash panel for a hot connection ( cell phone charger). If you look in the spare tire well there should be a fuse diagram that will tell you which of those are switched. Or just experiment. The low amp fuses typically are switched (accessory).
Here's the hot fuse I use for always on:
The 2010 has a switched 12v outlet in the glove box so I use that for my V1.
I've also heard of guys tapping the cabin lights circuit right there in the rear view mirror enclosure.

It's pretty straightforward. From the fuse box run up the fabric weather strip around the door jamb. At the seam where the headliner meets the A Pillar, pry the A pillar trim back far enough to tuck the wire in. It's tight. I use a butter knife to push the cable in. Pull the leading edge of the headliner down enough to tuck the wire in and run it across the top to the location on the windshield you want.
