Rear camera blue screen?
This only happened to me twice in a few months. After starting the car and putting into reverse, blue screen, bsod. Anyone ever have this happen? Shutting off the car and retrying 10 sec later doesn't fix, the nav/radio needs more time to reset it seems. You have to wait a few min, then when tuning power back on and after seeing the Mercedes star, it fixes itself. I'm guessing because power is fully cut off in a few min.

Assuming your car isn't underwater
I would say the camera itself is bad.
COMAND seems to be working and it's even drawing the colored lines on the screen.
The blue combined with no picture means the camera is either disconnected or dead.
You need an independent shop or dealer to plug it into STAR/DAS and look up trouble codes. There will likely be one for the wiring to the camera or camera itself.
Then you either replace the camera, repair the power wire, or repair the signal wire.
As a starting point, check if there is a camera fuse that has blown. Not sure there is a separate fuse.. it may be powered from COMAND.
If there is no separate fuse listed or the fuse is OK, you'll have to have it diagnosed. Something is up with your camera.

Cool. It's fine now, and only did this twice in 3 months, but when it does happen, you have to let the car sit for enough time that the display doesnt continue from where it was, meaning seeing the Mercedes star...

I might be wrong but you recently added some cool mods in your car , may be these mods might interfere with Comand unit

It would seem (as mentioned above) that the signal between your camera and the COMAND unit is faulty. The blue screen indicates no signal from camera.

Where to start looking? No idea. Likely the camera or some connector along the path.

Go to my thread about Rear Camera issue. Cable is broken - first check on the hinge area - there is a place where cable is mounted using cable ties - mine was broken there.

Thanks guys. It's working now again. But if I bring to dealer and they run their special tool, it will tell them info from when it wasn't working and they will know what's causing it?
Back in the day, they could only tell you what was wrong only at the time is was NOT working. Previous Mercedes...
Thanks, I knew at how this stuff works. I was just told once that these cars show everything with the dealers tools, but didn't know if it got this specific.
