2008 W221 - how to remove the engine cover?

I'm simply trying to replace the engine air filters. The front part of the top engine cover lifts off very easily. But how to remove the rear of the top engine cover, please?

Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a wire at the back of the air cleaner cover right in the middle. You need to basically push this wire towards the back of the car to get it off the two grooves. Look at the pic. Try and raise the front of the air cleaner a bit more and it should come off easy.
