07 S550 Suspension Malfunction

Does anyone know what parts I need to fix my 07 S550.

My car has an error that says suspension malfunction. I also
noticed my tires rub when hitting small bumps. I checked my fuse box
underneath the front hood and my 40 amp fuse was blown. Everytime I go to replace the fuse it blows almost instantly. Any suggestions on what
could be causing the fuse to blow. Would the relay need to be replaced and if so, where is the relay that needs to be placed and where should I order one from ? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like the Airmatic pump has failed and is causing the short that's tripping the fuse. The tires are rubbing because there's no air in the struts. Usually what causes an Airmatic pump failure is a leak at one or more struts that causes the pump to run continuously to maintain air pressure in the system, so in addition to a new pump you may also need one or more struts replaced. Unfortunately the repair runs several thousand dollars. Alternately there are companies that sell an airless strut replacement. It's cheaper in both parts and labor but you will lose the benefits of the Airmatic suspension.

Mike thanks for the feedback. Any recommendations on what I should replace first before spending thousands in new struts ?

The car needs to be put on an MB diagnostic terminal and it'll tell the tech what's wrong. Sounds like minimally the pump has failed. That's a few grand by itself. Then the struts and airlines need to be tested for leaks. You're looking at an expensive repair either way. I'd start with the diagnostic.
