Syntek XFT (Xtreme Fuel Treatment) in my S350?

Hello All,
Long time lurker usually do a lot of reading not that many posts, unless I upgrade... I am due for an upgrade soon but thats for another thread.

Someone approached me with this miracle juice called XFT from Syntek global. I was wondering if anyone has used it and what their experience has been with it. I am driving an S350 at the moment and want to know
1. Is it safe for my car
2. Any benefit
3. Who if anyone is using it.

I am asking this now because in Southern Africa, and in particular Zimbabwe Ethanol is now mandatory and it starts at E5 or E10. This product claims to combat the negative effects. Your usual answers are appreciated!

I have attached an image of the product.

Most of this stuff is snake oil. The main drawback of increased ethanol, is reduced mpg. I doubt that this wonderful elixir will do much to restore the lost mpg. With diesels, some additives help eliminate water in the tank and mold/fungus growth. If it makes you feel better, then go ahead and use it. Let us know if you experience any improvements.

Thanks. I am more worried about damaging my engine more than anything and I figured I would find at least one person who has used this product. Will hold out before I try.

1997 C200 5 speed manual
This product is being marketed with much hype. First, I made sure via a report from Wearcheck, an independent test lab that analyses oil samples for wear. They had tested the product for compliance with requirements for fuel and found nothing untoward.

Then I tested it as recommended by the manufacturers, double dose for two to three tanks and then 5ml per 50 litres of fuel.

I compared the previous fuel consumption of my 1997 model C200 manual on the open road with 5 000 kms of open road travel with Syntek and then another 730 kms without Syntek.

My car usually uses about 7,5 litres per 100 kms.
With Syntek added it used about 7,9 litres per 100 kms.
My last run on the same trip, without Syntek, returned 7,4 litres per 100 kms.

Conclusion: Even considering unknown variations, the additional cost of Syntek is not justified in my vehicle.

Thank you for this I have decided to try it in my S320 first and see how it goes.
