My2008 displayed this error yesterday. I drove for about 40 miles from the office to the house and the error disappeared. This morning while driving to the office it came back on. Any suggestions???? How can I turn it off?

 

Could be a wheel sensor....Happened to mine..was pass frt..

 

had this problem on my s 550, taking it in for check, apart from sensors what else cud have gone wrong, the error message just popped up

 

I would take it in for a check as soon as you could, could be nothing, but could also be a real issue with the breaking system.

While it's malfunctioning, your brakes can lock during hard braking, be careful.

 

Sometimes debris gets onto/stuck around the wheels speed senors causing a abs/esp light. Best thing to do is to have it scanned by dealer/mechanic with star diag/Mercedes equipment. That will guide you in the right direction. Good luck

 

Getting this error occasionally. When I took it to the dealer, the battery needed replacement so the dealer said such errors show up when the battery is weak. The car now has a brand new OEM battery but still getting the error.



Anything to keep in mind when I take the car to the dealer again? 2012 S350 40K km.
