phone mic wont work s 550
08 s 550 , have a i phone 5 , new bluetooth its has all contacts on display and can make a call from the car , can hear caller in the car but they cant hear me . is the mic in the rearveiw mirror ? on does something else needed or it a set up problem

My car has the same issue. i had it tested at the dealership and they said it was the rearview mirror where the mic is located. you have to purchase the whole rearview mirror. The rearview witht the bluetooth mic is north of $1000.00 you can check ebay etc but if you see one offered for less than $500 it is the WRONG mirror. I advise checking junkyards, sales from totaled MB, or ebay to find the correct one or if your extended warranty covers EVERYTHING including CONVENIENCE FEATURES then have it replaced and let your warranty cover it. if not, good luck cause its costly. I have USAA extended warranty insurance so it was covered under that. but if you only have one of those cheap drivetrain only warranties your out of luck. hope this helps
