Facelifting W221
Hello everyone
I already posted this on AMG section, however, since W221 section is more active, I am reposting here instead.
I have seen numerous posts regarding facelifting W221, however, I failed to find exact post that can be helpful for this specific issues.
1)Can LED DRL (either OEM or Taiwanese copies) be put on pre-facelifted S63 AMG front bumper? I do understand that OEM one will require resistors and Taiwanese one can be bolted right on, however, I am not sure about the fitment of grills where we mount LED DRLs and how LED DRL can be mounted. Is there going to be a fitment issues? Can the grills where we mount LED DRL be fit on pre-facelift S63 front bumper?
2) Where LED DRL should be connected to make it work as DRL.
3)Can facelifted headlight be put on with pre-facelift S63 front bumper? (Any fitment issues?) I have seen people changing bumpers, however not headlights, so my guess is facelifted headlights should be able to fit on pre-facelifted bumpers.
As you can see, whole intention is just upgrading the lightning systems w/o chaning the bumpers and other body pannels.
