New to a 12' S350 - Why did I wait so long?
I have owned a W123, W210, W211, and a W212. In each newer version, there are indeed elements of the vehicle that have improved. One area which they continued to decline is the ride quality. The last one I bought was a 12' E350BTC Luxury. I replaced the run-flat tires with conventional and even still, the ride was harsh, the seats were uncomfortable and there was still all that road noise.
This past week, I traded it in on a S350. I can't believe how much better the S-class is. Ride quality is amazing, the cabin it almost silent, the dynamic massaging seats are light years better then the E. All I had to do was install the Visseo WMA1000 to get streaming BT audio and all is well.
I wish I upgraded a long time ago. You guys are keeping these fantastic vehicles a secret.

Congrats and yep, I was thinking the same thing. I went form the C-class (W203, W204) to E-class (W212 2010 and 2012) to S-class.

2020 S560,14 ml350, 03 sl55, silver, pano, slr cams, evo headers, lsd, 2019 s63 cab.
Just turned in my 2012 s350 4 matic w 20 k miles and got a 2015 s550 4matis for arizona. Loved the diesel engine and its mileage. Almost kept it and was going to send it to my home in md, but have too many cars there already. Still like the body style as much as the new 2015. Great car. Enjoy it.

The dealer is offering a Simonize glass coat option to help prevent paint issues with rain. Anyone else get this and is it worth it?
