What's news to me is that CarMax sells reasonably priced full coverage warranties on high end cars. Meanwhile, my 2010 CPO S550 is in the shop for a bad exhaust sensor and leaking cam seals. So far I paid $4500 for the extended warranty and they've paid out around a grand. We'll see what this latest trip runs them. Two years of coverage left.

The V12 is notorious for oil leaks that can only be accessed to repair by tearing down the whole entire engine, heads and all. They put a internal cooler that uses the coolant to cool the oil and theres a gasket that fails early. Here's a youtube vid of it
