) and the car is examined periodically multiple times between the scheduled services. That seems to catch things early before they really become a problem - preventative maintenance does seem to work, but like others on the forum have indicated in numerous threads, have either a warranty and/or cash on hand for repairs. I plan to DI-Myself repairs as much as I can. I also am in the middle of a retrofit and I am learning quite a bit about my car, seems it has a lot of capability (option ready) for retrofitting options that I want. Now if I could figure a way to get a lift past my darling wife into the garage and camo' it so she won't see it for a while, I would be set for brake jobs and other routine maintenance. also for just information purposes, I would advise that you subscribe/join multiple forums and the Euro forums too. One can get a ton of good info on early warning signs, existing symptoms, and other good info to help you with keeping your car in good shape. I hope this helps.
