Keyless Entry not working

Hello friends,
The key less entry stopped working on my drivers door. All three other doors work fine. I am guessing the sensor is bad or its a fuse. Anyone have this problem?

I just noticed this problem on mine the other day.. I swapped keys and it worked fine, but it has started to act up again.. Now I have been pouring over the owners manual and I am thinking maybe I have to reset the remote???

I've been doing some research and have been finding that if I replace the outside door handle it will fix it. Seems like the touch sensors go bad. I'll order one in a couple weeks and see what happens.

Mine used to do something strange. When I touched the handle it didn't unlock. But when I pulled the handle, it unlocked. I then started the car and stopped the engine. I touched it again and it worked fine. I think yours is either a battery or sensor issue. I suggest you have a diagnostic.

I replaced the battery a couple months ago. If it was a battery issue I think I would have the same problems on all 4 doors not just the drivers door but who know, I'll just replace the batterys again since they are less than 5 bucks.

But I am pretty sure now that this is the sensor.

Other weird thing.. My seat has randomly been getting stiffer in random parts of the seat.. Mostly the lumbar support.. Its not the dynamic seat being activated.. Either way.. Is this something thats normal to keep you awake? I wouldn't think so as it happens about 5 mins into my 20 min drive home.. Thanks!

Hi,
last evening I solved Keyless GO entry issue - it was very easy (30 mins per handle). The problem on ALL four doors was with broken cables:

One of handle had also damaged plug because of water.
Costs - less then 10$ - new handle is about 300$.
I am going to put DIY on YouTube and share it later.
If you will have any questions - PM me.

p.s. when you unlock car (in the past when KeylessGo worked) - did electric door closer opened doors or just unlocked them ?
Yesterday when I did tests it sometimes opened door when I just touched handle, but most of the times it just unlocked car ? What is proper behavior ? I like when closer motor opens doors to me

Mine began acting up......the dealer told me to change my electrical battery (in the trunk).....which fixed the problem. (But my car is a 2007....your 2009 should on,y have the one big battery under the hood)

Had this exact same problem for ages, never done anything about it. I assume it is some issue related to the drivers door handle. Would be interested in seeing the youtube clip when done.

yes, please post a video... Obviously it is a common problem. I think it is a broken wire issue because sometimes my driver handle unlocks.

It just unlocks them when you touch the inside of the handle. It doesn't open them until you pull on it.

Any luck?

Did you end up replacing the handle? If so, did it work and how much did it cost? Thanks!!

S-class is not auto-opening doors, there is little support (easier to open) a door, but only when you unlock doors using KeyLess. When I grab a handle and pull I feel some support, next doors are opening without this push support - doesn't mutter which doors are open as first.
