Just joined the family
Not sure if I got a good deal as I picked up a 2013 with Driver Assistance Pkg, Power Shades, Panorama Roof, Sport Package, Heated Steering Wheel.
Sticker was about $111,000 and it had 14,100 miles and ended up getting it for $58,000. So far so good. I enjoy reading all of the threads so thanks to all the members.

What color exterior/interior? That's a great deal for such a low mileage/basicly brand new car.

Things I don't like so far:
1) Hate how you have to use the COMAND Center to change vent configuration for AC. Wish there was a physical button
2) Wish you could turn the AC off (not the vents blowing air, but just the AC) with a button.
3) Wish when you adjusted the temperature it would sync instead of adjusting driver side and then you have to adjust passenger side.
4) Wish you could turn some of the audio favorites off. Have about 15 programmed, but when at 15 and go forward wish it would go to #1 instead of having to go through 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20.

1. I'm sure it was done for the ergonomic design of the dashboard. Putting it in auto works wonders as all of the air seems to go to the right places, as if by magic.
2. Why would you want to do this? The auto function is very smart....and it uses sensors throughout the cabin to hit the set temperature to make sure all parts of your body are comfortable.
3. This can be set up through COMAND by setting it to "mono".
4. If you want to stick with only what your presets have programmed, then make sure that you have only programmed the channels you want....and use the steering wheel controls to scroll them. It should only go to programmed channels....and after 15 as in your example, it should go directly to 1.
Where do you get your info? According to KBB, fair dealer purchase price is $59,800 (assuming it's not certified). CPO is $66.2k.
Did the OP happen to give you his VIN so you could look it up on your auction site or whatever your source might be? Also, did you speak with the dealer to see what they did to his car to get it ready for sale....such as tires, brakes, reconditioning, etc?
OP....it sounds like you did just fine with your purchase and definitely didn't get ripped off. Enjoy your ride and post pics when your car is clean.
On turn around cost- you realize that your average wholesaler will factor all the things you mentioned and more into the price in about 120 seconds - right?

The only time wholesale is skewed is if the dealer has a buyer for particular car- then pricing can get stupid, but this is fairly rare.
