Look inside the rear well where the bumper meets the inner quarterpanel. There's a 2" or so tab that can come down on hard bumps and hit the top of the tire.
It's closer. I'm true flush with a rear offset of 23mm and a front of 28mm. I'm running OEM S63 wheels (43mm) and 20mm HR Trak spacers rear and 15mm front. I loved the look immediately but I expected vibration issues so I was surprised when I felt nothing when they went on. It seems to handle a little crisper with the lower offsets as well. You do need to Dremmel off the little tab inside the rear fender wels or they'll rub on bumps.
Would you happen to remember the H&R spacer # you used for the 15mm in the fronts? ( DR spacer 3055659 ? )
They are on the rims at the tire store! But I had a business trip this week and now the Spring Break family vacation to get through next week....So after Easter I will be a able to get them on the car.
Niceeee! I've had my eye on those myself for my 600. I might have to get them! Let me know how the ride quality is. Did you go 245/40/20 and 275/35/20?
Yes, that is the sizes I went with.
They are 27.7" dia. fronts and 27.6" rears. Thought I wasn't going to get used to looking at bigger tires but they look fine.
If I did it again I would have went with the black wheel / machined face.
Ok so I took pics in every different lighting there is. Now they look Chrome. I think black with machined face would have a sporty look over these.
Last pic I promise...
That is the only reason I don't like my 20's that I have on my 550...they are gunmetal, but at certain times appear chrome and I don't like chrome. They still look good though. I am going to go with a silver.
