Two totally different animals. OP has a 6 year old S550. The car he posted is an AMG63 sports car that was very limited in production numbers and will actually be worth something in 10 years.
I was at my local dealer a few weeks ago and I was not impressed by the W222 sedan. Smaller feeling interior, video game dash, feminine tail lights, and body lines that say "I wish I was a W221!" The coupe on the other hand had beautiful lines, but still cramped.

I have a need 4 speed... and class. the s-class is a nice comfort driver but this or a sl63 would be a nice adrenaline pumping car. Not to mention the exhaust note

You are looking in the wrong direction. Both the sls and the sl class are grand tourers/ cruisers. Softly sprung, heavy on their feet and vague. The sls black series is better, but another story.

My dealer had one for awhile as well, but the roadster. Cool looking car as a novelty piece but I couldn't get past the interior vs the price. And that, my friends, is the only reason I didn't buy it for $140,000 right there on the spot.
