Guys my backup camera is always blurry I tried to clean the lens where it's mounted to the trunk. Not really that much of a difference. The price is outrageous for a new camera wondering if anyone took it apart to clean inside or had any tricks.

 

I think they're all like that on the W221. No amount of cleaning is going to make it more clear. I had a new Ford Explorer rental last month the had a crystal clear camera. It even worked great at night. If you want a better camera, you're gonna have to install an after market one.

 

Was it ever clear for you?

 

I don't know about him, but I know that Ever Clear gets me all f'ed up.

Is it an original camera that you have at the moment? The camera lens gets dirty on a rainy day but once cleaned it should five a pretty good image.
