Thanks. I test drove s63 and s65 while I was getting my car they are both amazing cars but the 600 got me after I drove it. I'm about 600 miles into my trip in this car is absolutely amazing!

Also, thanks again Dave for your help it was definitely worth it.

Just got in...1100 miles of pure bliss driving. I am so glad I did the S600. So comfortable and the leather is so much softer than the S550. I'll get some pictures tomorrow after I clean it up from the drive home. Car is spotless. Great gas mileage for a V12 and my spirited driving.

Love the distronic also!

The warranty is through the dealer. I havent looked up everything about it but it wasnt the deal breaker anyway since I got the car for dirt cheap.

Did you receive a copy of the full service agreement spelling out all coverages & exclusions? (That brochure does not look like the service agreement). Did you make sure that the coverage was transferable? If so, did the seller of the car complete all necessary paperwork to transfer the coverage to you? Did you get a copy of all receipts for service that have been done to the car since new?

These are all very important questions as the last thing you need is to think you have coverage, only to be denied when you take it in for service. If the coverage is transferable and the transfer has been filed correctly, you'll need to make sure that you have all of the service records and receipts as after-market warranty companies can be quick to deny coverage if all of the scheduled maintenance per the MB service schedule hasn't been completed within the proper time frames/mileage intervals.

Yes, I have every receipt from every single thing they have had done and the full warranty policy. That is the front of the booklet. They were very detailed and had everything in a big file.

23k!!! He was originally asking 30,500 for his wife but he just wanted to sell it because he wife didn't need it and only drove her other cars. Car is spotless. I still cant believe it. I was driving back last night and just smiled the whole way home as I kept looking at the interior and playing with all of the buttons.

Thanks! I am really HAPPY about it. We just came from picking my S550 up at the airport and my wife drove the 600 home. Man, that thing had such a nice mellow growl in the parking garage.

I just came in from washing it. That obsidian black is a beautiful color. When I look at my s550 next to the black on the 600 is beautiful. Pictures coming shortly.

23k? Wow! You got the deal of the century. Is your 550 an AMG package car? If so, then is it hard to live without it on your 600?

Here are a few pics but they suck. I'm going to wax it later or tomorrow so I'll get more. Car is spotless. I am very pleased. My wife asked me if I am changing the rims, which was surprising...not sure what I am doing with those yet...they are currently on michelin pilot primacys 18's so I may do 19's in an actual AMG wheel...we'll see.

My car is exactly identical to yours...except my wheels are chromed. I even have the antenna on the trunk...which is actually a benefit compared to when they got rid of it. Your garage door opener range will be at least 5 times longer than the cars that don't have it there.

I still can't believe you picked up that car at that price. If the seller checks the forums or looks anywhere online at S600 prices, he'll figure out he left at least $10k on the table....maybe more with the value of the warranty.

Since you have the prowess of finding outstanding deals, let me know what kind of deals you find on wheels.

Congrats my friend. Enjoy it in good health.

Haha, thanks! He already knew. He looked online when his wife wanted to sell it and he originally wanted over 30k for it. Since I was coming with cash in hand and flying in, he cut me a huge deal. He told me when we were in his driveway talking that he can't believe how much these cars costs and that I am getting a good deal. His wife didn't care what it sold I guess which is why he was able to let it go so cheap.

I'm very grateful that's for sure!

Will do. I think I'd like to stick with the amg line of wheels. I need to do all the small mods. Gary shipped my led tail lights which will be here this week, I need to change all my interior lights to leds and do the license plate led's. Probably won't have a chance before I leave next week for cozumel but I know when I come back I'll be ready to tackle it all.

A few more pics. I just changed all of the interior bulbs to leds. I just need t do the license plate led's sometime soon.

I still cant get over how flawless this car is. It is literally showroom clean. It turns heads everywhere. Went to petsmart with my wife and I was backing in to a spot right in front of the doors and my wife said the couple coming out of the store said "wow, that is nice". I love my car! I couldn't have made a wiser choice! Most people don't even realize these cars are 7 and 8 years old because of how nice they look (unless they are in to cars).

Beautiful car. For what it's worth, I like the wheels. Like the car, classically handsome.

Thanks Rich. The wheels are kind of growing on me. I love the ride quality vs the 20's on my S550 which is still smooth but this is like butter...abc I suppose is why. For some reason, I just like being able to see the rotors/calipers.

Classically handsome - that's exactly right.
