Just bought my first CL
I have driven S Class' since 1994. This will be first CL It's a standard 2012 AWD w/ a lot of options and packages. 24k miles. 1.4 yrs. of warranty time remain. S class experiences scream "Get extended warranty, when it's time." I likely will. It gets delivered soon.
Anything significant to note compared to the stock esses I have driven for 20+ yrs.? I liked the look and the larger entrance/exit. Usually not hauling around more than two carcasses at a time. I am not young and don't trick things up. This has AMG Sport pkg., looks and 19" ers.
Anxious to learn all insights, cautions, thoughts and information from others here. Thanks.

It's basically a smaller 2 door S-class. I'm sure you've already noticed that the dash is nearly identical to your 2007 S-class. Obviously you have the upgraded 4.7 bi-turbo V8 that's also in the 2012+ S-class, so you've certainly upgraded your motor from your old car. Long term reliability of that motor compared to the old 5.5 NA V8 which has been around for a long time is hard to say with only 3 years of use.
I believe that the CL can be outfitted with the same options as the S-class, so hopefully you picked up one with all of the newest gadgets that weren't available back in 2007....like lane departure, etc.
