Center Console

Got MB to replace center console due to stretched leather! Don't have to steam it now. If you are under warranty suggest you give it a try.

Knowing from your other post, you must go to RBM of Atlanta. You have better luck there than I have recently. I have been going to RBM for about 15 years now and never had a problem until now. I have a 2012 S550 that has the Blue ambient lighting out in the back and cannot get RBM to fix it for me. Really pisses me of because it is LED lighting and it is a 2012! I am working with MBUSA now... we will see where that goes.

Yep, saying LED lighting is not a warranty item. They want 1200 dollars per side (Both sides are out) They say you have to buy the wood trim because the LED strip is attached to them and it is $1200 each PLUS labor so will be around $3000. Whats weird is that the other two colors work fine, just not blue. I told them no F-ing way am I paying $3000 for the LED lighting when it should be under warranty.

Someone on this forum replaced their LEDs themselves, and it did not require any wood work from what I remember.

That's bulli*****. I had mine replaced under cpo. The front dash piece on right hand side. Nothing was even wrong with it, but I said it looked a little dim on the bottom right where the dash starts to curve going to the right in front of passenger. I think that area is just a little dimmer on all models in this spot. They replaced anyway, new piece about the same.

I didn't even want it replaced, I just asked, "why is this a little dimmer here?" And they replaced it. I didn't even get the car from them.

Ya I am pissed. I have tried a few service advisors. I have used Ron, and another lady that I am blanking on her name right now. However, I have also spoken to one of the Managers, Brandon to no avail.

Yep, I don't know why they do not want to do it. I have been bringing my past 3 S-classes, Past E300 Diesel and 190 Diesel over the past years and never had a problem like this before. They have always been very nice to me and my family. (We have over 7 MB's in the family right now) and still no luck. That's why I am getting MBUSA involved.
