Personally, I didn't find the 2014 update helpful. For instance, a Marriott hotel I visit for business wasn't even listed in the update even though they were in business for over 10 years. After all these years, you'd think there'd be a category for stores like Costco, but I can't find it even on the new update. Also, the Bay Bridge in SF recently finished construction last year and it follows a different path from the old bridge. I think last time I crossed it a week ago, the map was correct on the east bound, but it was incorrect on the west bound direction of the new section. Unless there were major changes to highways or roads in your area, I'd hold off on buying the DVD update. Just my two cents...
