I have the car now for 3 years, the ball joint that is at the bottom of the front airmatic shocks on left and right is going although the air ride is still fine. It is expensive to change the front shocks in that car so I want to know if I can press that lower ball joint out and press in a new one. I have tried to solve this with no luck, it is easy to remove the ball joint and put another one but I do not know where to get the new ball joints. I called Arnett, a company specialized in rebuilding shocks, they did not give any informations. These shocks with the lower ball joints is only the 4matic version of the W221 body style. Much appreciating any help.

The bushing in the bottom is not available as a separate part. Buy new arnotts and enjoy the lifetime warranty they offer
