Road Test Reviews
Has anyone seen a road test comparison of a W221 S550 and a Lexus LS460. I recently traded my Lexus LS for a S550 and am interested to see how reviewers rated the two vehicles particularly in terms of ride and NVH

C&D did a comparo featuring a 2006 Jaguar Super V-8 vs. 2007 M-B S550, 2006 Audi A8L, 2007 Lexus LS460L, 2006 BMW 750Li.
Lexus finished dead last at 5th. S550 was 1st. You made a smart buy, but it may take awhile behind the wheel to really understand why. Personally no matter how much I wanted to dump a car and get something new I'm always filled with regret about the car I gave up. The Lexus may give you second thoughts for some time but ultimately the S will win you over. Then you'll get inside an LS460 and realize it's not as nice as you remembered.

2015 S550
Enjoyed re-reading that old article. It's amazing how absolutely dated the interiors on the Audi, Jag, & BMW looked. More like cars from the late 90's-early 2000's. Exteriors looked pretty ancient too. The Lexus looked very appropriate for 2007 and the Benz still looks modern, even in 2015.
