Got these two units from Jason here on the forum, and had my local audio shop install them. $250 labor. Really cool, it still cracks me up to be standing outside the car and hear it start up. Nice to be out shopping when it's 90 degrees out and start the car using the phone app while standing in the checkout line.

That's likely for a conventional remote starter, wired into the ignition and the starting motor. This is a plug and play device that installs into the car's CAN network and tricks the car's computer into running a start sequence. A lot less complicated and invasive install.
It's actually two devices, the Smartkey Starter can be installed alone, and it will start the car using your existing smart key (press and hold the Panic button) as long as the car is in range. The Drone Mobile piece adds the ability to start from a smartphone app. It's essentially a little cellular network device and requires a yearly subscription of $50.
Yes, it can display Fahrenheit but I don't get an actual temp reading in either format.
