My Lumbar support/dynamic seat function has to worked for a long time. When i activate the option, it only has the option to adjust just the backrest fro the driver and passenger seat. But even then, when I change the setting from 0 to anything else, it immediately reverts back to zero.
Etiologic suggests, Fault code 9210 "The Module carrier for the backrest is defective".
Hav the opportunity to swap parts with another written off S-Class. But have absolutely no idea how to get into the back of the front seats.
Found this insightful pdf with a diagram of the breakdown of seat components. If I had to guess, it looks like the headrests inserts are what are holding the back cover of the seats in place. i would try that but don't want to break anything
This opportunity has a time limit. Instructions will be greatly appreciated.
