Angry 2007 S550 Issues

My issues are as follows:

  1. Red Battery light keeps coming on. I changed the Alternator and both batteries but same result. Was told to change the auxiliary battery under the dash. Of course none there. Anyone know where this is?
  2. The AC had a leak (O-Ringer) and id fixed it. Vacuum the system then try to charge it. It only charge to 0.36 lbs. Will not take anymore. When I try to turn on AC it immediately goes off.
  3. Low beam on passenger side out. All the other lights (High beam on both side, low beam on driver's side, etc.) work. Check fuse all ok. change bulb and it is still out.
All my parts are purchased from the dealer. Any ideas will? Thanks in advance.

1. Aux battery is behind the rear passenger seat. It's the big battery.
2. You may have a bad compressor.
3. If it's not a fuse, it could be a bad ballast or loose wire.

Battery

Thanks for replying Dave. I have changed the battery under the hood and the big battery in the trunk behind the driver seat. The one I am asking about is the supposedly 3rd battery (1.2ah) used as electronic backup to power shifter.

That one is located just under the dash. If you drop the bottom panel of the dash, you should be able to see that small battery.

Auxiliary battery

Hi Nuru. Thanks for responding. I pull almost the entire dash apart and I did not see the battery. I know what it looks like because I have the new one on hand. I checked autohaus website and they day it is under the passenger seat. Will check sometime this week.

Updates

1. The pressure switch in the line for AC was bad. Change and ac works great.
2. The battery light was cause by the line from alternator shorting out. It somehow had a cut and it was shorting out on the plate that covers the mount.
