I'm coming to the end of my factory 4/50 full coverage warranty next month. I've got another 1 year on CPO, but I'll loose the full coverage for trim and other random items.
What major things should I have done before the warranty ends?
I've got things done like replacing wheel center caps for corrosion, flashing the transmission software for hard downshifting, replacing the Distronic clear shield for discoloration, replacing the center console top for excessive leather expansion, and even replacing wheel locks for rust.
My exterior window trim (anodized aluminum?) is fading/discolored......thinking about trying to get that replaced. Once this trim is tarnished I've never been able to bring it back.....its not like chrome.
I tried several times to get the steering wheel replaced due to leather discoloration/excessive wear and have not been successful.
Thinking about asking to have the CD changer door replaced due to excessive fading.
What else should I do as a pre-caution before full coverage is gone?

How do I get them to replace the steering wheel? Can't get that one done.....been to two dealers and manager's won't approve saying that they'll get charged back if they approve it.Originally Posted by Mike5215
Everything you can get away with.
I have a feeling the exterior window trim will be the same story.
