Best way to get a 12v power supply into glovebox

2007 W221

What's the best way I can get a 12v connection in to the glove box?

Got a few bits I need powering via ignition, would the front cig lighter be best option, tap into feed and feed wire through to glove box? Has any one attempted this or another method?

Many thanks

Pop off the end cap of the dash near the glovebox. There's a fuse panel there to tap into for 12v and to the right a bolt that can be used for ground. You can conceal wires and route them into the glovebox from there, or go up the A pillar and over the top of the headliner for a radar detector.

Super... Didn't realise that was there!

Any recommendations on what to tap into? Need power on ignition.

Also what size are the fuses as I will order a fuse tap... Standard, mini or micro?

Many thanks

Standard. I don't remember which are hot vs switched but any of the large amperage ones will typically be hot, and the 5A will be switched. There's a slot on the bottom of that end panel. Put a flat screwdriver in there and pull outward. Those panels have sturdy metal clips. I've had mine off and on dozens of times.
