Suspension Issues

I have noticed lately when going over a bump or pothole that my rear right suspension slams harder than the rear left side. I can hear it and feel it hitting harder....... is there a way to tell if i need new struts or shocks? No service light is on, no error messages. and the impact is only felt when going over a bump or pothole, otherwise the car rides smooth.

did you check your tire pressures?

otherwise i would leave it alone until something breaks/ wears out in a more obvious manner. a bad shock usually manifests itself in a after bump shudder as it cannot quell well the post bump wheel hop.

Tire pressure is fine, but after bump shudder happens.

Then the hydraulic part of your shock has failed.

Replace both rears
