i use this to convert youtube videos to mp4 for my iTunes playlist. and it sounds pretty nice with good quality for me. i would expect videos to be same.

To save a Youtube video, first open the video you want to save. Then type in 'ss' in front of the youtube.com in the link for the video. It will look something like the following...
https://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=ABCDEFGHIJK
Doing this automatically brings me to a page - savefrom.net which gives me options to save the video as an HD MP3 or 360p MP4 video file. Then you can burn the file to a DVD.

It just extracts the audio as an MP3 file, no video. Decent quality depending on how the original track was recorded.
