Thank You!! I put it on Craigslist.org half heartedly to see what bites.
The last owner of the car offered me 15k yesterday.
Some of the requests sounded very much out of the playbook of the Mike and Dave show.
I'm planning on getting a 2013 S550/S600. It's got twin turbo, more bells and whistles and is of the perfectly refined.

If the previous owner really offered you $15k for your car, you should take the money and sprint to the bank as fast as you can. That's about $4-5k more than the car is worth.

I had a guy offer me his perfect condition always maintained at Mercedes of Portland e everytime E500 2004 black on black @97k + $9k for it. Had a guy offer 13.5k cash. Another guy offered 15k cash.

Those offers aren't to bad considering all things. Plus you have a DD so you will still be able to get around. IDK boss, I just might consider especially a all cash offer. Good luck.

Well...they say that there is a sucker born every minute. Maybe you'll find that eager kid who doesn't do any pre-purchase homework. Hopefully you'll be honest and disclose the car as an insurance total loss.

I dont see a link either? Cl offers are mostly Bs I would say. Unless someone is in front of the car. I sold an X5 a few weeks ago to a great gentlemen from Cl after the car being listed only there for 2 days so you never know. I also bought another X5 off cl a few days prior that was perfect with a factory warty still on it. Give it a shot!

nonsense. There are members that sell complete packages that you don't need to know anything about computers for. I bought my system previously used for $400 and it works right out of the box.
It also had developer mode where I can change coding on the vehicle, including the speed limiter.
As far as I'm concerned, in terms of home DIY, it is a panacea for owners of complex mb products

By the way, been here in this w221 forums few times and it has been really funny, but now this thread? LOL Read all 93 pages of it. 
All in all, props to Mr mercedesbenzs55 for the way he handled all the bickering, the harsh responses, the drama, all what made up the show in this forum.
