Totally confused, trying to order new ceramic pads on front/rear and im getting mixed messages. Im hearing rotors are different pads are the same or vice versa. Can someone please clear this up. I have a 2007 s550 with a genuine AMG factory sports package, dont want to ruin my slotted rotors before I change pads. Does anyone have a clear explanation on pads and rotor part numbers for sports package specific. I know its not the same as the base 550. I also have a 2003 s500 black on black, bought on ebay and dont have time, it ran now it doesnt, looks good but im done trying to change modules and batteries..Offer me something sweet and its yours

I'll trade you the correct ceramic pads for your s550 in exchange for the s500

amg is just an appearance package and all pads and rotors are same across the board for the s550.

I don't think they're all the same. Advance Auto Parts lists' 2 different rotors. With Sport Pkg (350mm) & Without Sport Pkg (335mm).

yes there are 2 different rotors and pads i think on s550 i think maybe RWD and AWD might be the difference , i would recommend buying parts from mb though
