Hello I have recently bought a 09 s550 with a minor front end damage. I have bought a front bumper off a 07 s550 and was wondering if it is the same. I saw that these cars come with 2 diffrent front bumpers not including the amg one. I have attached two diffrent pics of the front bumpers and was wondering if you guys can let me know what model or trims that they come in. The first pic is the bumper i recently got but like the bumper in the second pic more

The right picture is for the optional sport package. There also may be a different bumper for vehicles with distronic. Vehicles with parktronic have 4 "bullet holes" for the sensors.

There were 4 different bumpers
1) standard with parktronic
2) standard without parktronic
3) sports package with parktronic
4) sports package without parktronic

alright thanks for the reply also both front bumpers should be interchangeable with no modifications or other parts/brackets correct?

Several different parts are different for the sports package bumper. Look at the difference in the shape of the fog lights as an example as well as the mesh grill that is inside the air opening. There is also a different energy absorber behind the bumper. The sport package bumper is also known as the AMG bumper at the web site below where if you examine the parts list you will see the different part numbers required.

I know that the bumper themselves are diffrent I mean if I had a regular bumper and wanted to switch to the sport bumper will it directly bolt on if I remove the original bumper or are the mounting brackets diffrent

regular bumper will bolt on the same as a sport package bumper. There are two bolts by the headlights, two nuts behind the center grill, and brackets inside the fender wells.
