Need new intake tubes! Aftermarket???
My fabric semi stiff stock intake tubes on my S550 have seen better days and are falling apart. Instead of buying stock ones I was seeing if there in a better alternative. I run the stock air box with dual K&N air filters. Any suggestions on this fix would be much appreciated! Thank Q

Although you probably can do that, I wouldn't recommend it. As the owner of both a W220 and a W221 I can say from experience that adding pod filters on Benz engines usually results in power loss as well as causes damage to the engine in the long run.
