2007 Mercedes S550 AMG package
S550 2007
Hello everyone,
I just have the car for over two weeks and do love however have some questions. I have never driven a Mercedes or European car before so I have two questions. When I am driving and the car is in "comfort mode" I find if I release the gas pedal and am going down hill the transmission seems to stay engaged meaning it doesn't coast, slows down is this normal. I did bring to local MB dealer and had them do a once over including drive test they said all was good, no issues. Another thing I had them check the wipers. The left hand wiper motor works and then all of sudden stops only drivers side works. If I stop the car and open door then close so everything is reset the motor works again. They the MB dealer said there is no hard code but that I should just change the motor. What do you guys think. Another question my car has the switch in front can be pulled out like three times. I looked it up in the manual and it says there is a rear fog light in case of fog. I tried it and the top portion of the taillight lights up. Looks like it is very bright. Is this when thjere is fog so cars in the back of you can see your taillights?
Brake lights are good and everything else seems to work fine.

2022 GLC 300
1) Mine does the same thing; seems normal
2) Not sure, but wiper motors have some electronics in them.
3) Yes, this is the fog light; normal operation is to be lit on one side at a time so as to not appear symmetrical in dense fog and be mistaken for tail lights
