Alternator for 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 4Matic (W221.186; M273.968)
As title said, I'm looking for an alternator for 2008 Mercedes-Benz S550 4Matic (W221.186; M273.968), it's not hard to find its code 910 high capacity alternator, it's 220 AMPS, but the Bosch alternators I found are all 12V, but the user manual and some rebuild parts have 14V, is there anyone knows where to buy an new alternator for my car? I think the usual price should be under $500.

To comparison shop online MB part # is 0131545502 new, remanufactured 013154550280.

Alternators for 12 volt systems usually provide 14 volts. A 12 volt battery requires about 14 volts to be charged. There are NO alternators that only output 12 volts since this is inadequate to charge a battery. The Bosch alternators are for 12 volt systems which is what your vehicle has. As long as it is a 12 volt alternator with sufficient amperage capacity and mechanically fits AND has a compatible electrical connection, it should be fine.
