My buddy has a 2011, S550 and when you lock the doors with the key fob, the horn beeps 3 times, the door lock pins go down but if you pull the door handle from the outside, the door will open as if it were not locked. Anyone ever have this issue or can someone help me out diagnosing the problem? Thanks

 

It sounds like he has Keyless Go. Mine always does that....except for the beeping when locking.

 

Sound like keyless go to me also...Have him lock the car & walk away with the key 50ft. or so..Then you try to open the door....no open...(( ]keyless to go )).

 

Looks like its the keyless go. Once you walk approximately 50' away, it wont open unless you unlock the doors with the key fob. Thanks for the help guys!!

Pluto dude... if the lock pin on top of door goes down the lock is engaged- they are connected mechanically
