s550 COMAND/SAT RADIO
I have a 2007 s550, just updated comand software through vediamo. The reason for updating was I didnt have aux in or a sat radio option, after updating still no sat radio option under audio. I am able to see that the coding for sat radio is active under comand and MOST options in xentry, there's no fault codes in sdars, but for some reason it doesnt show up as an option on my comand at all under audio.. any Ideas why not? I can get actual values from the unit in xentry/das just nothing in comand menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sat radio requires an additional hardware receiver in your vehicle. Also your vehicle antenna needs to be compatible with sat radio. Early 2007 vehicles had two visible antennas (one on the trunk lid and one on the rear of the roof). Later models had a single antenna on the roof.
