S63 or CL63 trans in S550

S63 or CL63 trans in S550
So, my 7G-tronic going out, need a tranny swap. (RWD Base Model)
Option 1: get a used 60K transmission for approx. $2500
Option 2: get an AMG S63 or CL63 trans if its possible...
Anyone done this before? I'm told its a direct fit but the torque converter and conductor plate may have to be swapped in from the original.
Thoughts?
Anyone know what year Tranny I can go up to in a 2007 S550 RWD, would love to put in a 2011 trans if its compatible.
