Airmatic malfunction

. Just replaced front 2 strut, valve block, and compressor filter. The car drives beautiful around town, but once I take it on the highway that airmatic malfunction light comes on. Usually when it reach 60 mph and up, it's consistent, happens every time. No sagging over night.
What can it possibly be?

At 60+ the car lowers itself. Must be related to that somehow. It may just need to be recalibrated. The dealer or an indie with STAR can do it for you.

I just got the car back from the indie shop that only do Mercedes-Benz. I thinks it's more then just a recalibrate .

Does the car ride normally on the highway despite the warning? Is the warning in red text or yellow? If you press the lift button does the car raise normally? The shop should be able to pull any fault codes. The car needs to go back.

The car drives beautiful on the highway, but the yellow malfunction light comes on. It raise normally when I hit the button. I'm taking back to the shop tomorrow. I just wanted to hear from other owners if they had experienced similar problem.

I am having the same problem currently. Haven't had time to take it to the shop yet. Interested to see what yours is.

I've replaced the air compressor, air compressor filter, the valve block and just like you I still get an air matic malfunction yellow air after driving the car for 5 to 10 minutes. It passes All Star leakage, compressor all tests I don't hear hissing the car stays up after being parked for 2 days I mean it sags half an inch but that's supposedly normal I'm at my wit's end. My mechanic with a star can't figure it out car drives and handles beautifully goes up and down with the manual button like I said the malfunction won't go off unless I'm moving down the road. It throws codes like air pressure release valve and Central Reservoir takes too long to fill but SDS produces no leaks anywhere in the system. Why is the car complaining? Could it be an intermittent Leak with one of the shocks that only what I'm hitting bumps the bladder bleeds out? I can't fathom changing out the whole air suspension system to find the Phantom Ghost please someone help!? :-(

I do remember a few months back someone mentioning that the malfunction light could come on because of a bad sensor not associated with the airmatic system. Maybe someone can build on my recollection with more details?

Revisit compressor harness per attached bulletin. Not chafed, no guarantee but given all you checked/done to date only thing left is the control unit. Visually inspect, no problems consider replacement (may require recalibration): https://workshop-manuals.com/mercede..._control_unit/ + next page.
