Airmatic malfunction

I have a 2008 S550 with 65k miles. Just replaced front 2 strut, valve block, and compressor filter. The car drives beautiful around town, but once I take it on the highway that airmatic malfunction light comes on. Usually when it reach 60 mph and up, it's consistent, happens every time. No sagging over night.
What can it possibly be?

More than likely it is a relay or compressor. You need to have the codes read - but that is a start.

My guess is when you get to highway speeds the car automatically lowers. There is something in that system which is malfunctioning. I want to suggest that it is a position sensor (ride height) but I would think that would be in play all the time so thats probably unlikely. Can you get it to manually raise and lower?

I see that this is a repeat post and Mike already suggested the same thing
