Massage Feature
I can't seem to understand why when I turn on the massage feature on either driver or passenger side it will go from the selection I made back to 0.... for instance I would select 3 and it would after about 1-2 seconds go back to 0 and not begin massaging.
Is there something that I'm not doing right or a malfunction with the equipment?

Most likely cause is an air leak. Worst case is a failure of one of the seat air bladders. A common air source feeds both seats which will cause an air leak to cause both seats to fail. Most likely other seat functions are also NOT working. Try to adjust the lumbar support and it will most likely quickly return to a relaxed position. Unfortunately, if the cause is a failed seat air bladder, the repair can be quite expensive.

Confirm if the air bladders are working generally by using the other bladder based adjustments. Usually if the bladder is leaking, any function that uses that bladder will not work, or return to "0" or deflate after 2-10 minutes.
My car is an '08 with the multicontour seats. Within the last year I've had both front seat upper bolsters replaced, one they did twice (second time under warranty). It's about $1500 a pop

I have been reading all the posts on the massaging seats with interest and curiosity. I actually really like the massaging seats on my 2014 S550. For me it is soothing and relaxing since I also have lower back issues. I can drive for hundreds of miles and not get very tired in my car. On the other hand, if I drive my wife’s LS450h for more than a half hour my back starts to really hurt.
I imagine that the 2019 S450 now waiting to be released from the Baltimore VPC will be even better.
