I am an owner! 2011 S63!
Last month, my soft close door went bad. 2 months before that, 2 TMPS sensors went bad... And I had 1 more issue I can't recall. Had the car since this pervious April, so, not even a year.
If you do wanna look at a warranty, call CarChex. They warrantied my 09 CLS63 I had before this S and they were amazing.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I've tried to get Carchex warranty on my 08 S550 with 28000 miles back in Oct, but was told that they stopped offering warranty for S Class in California a few months ago. I was with impression that they still offer the warranty in some other states. I'm taking my chance that the repair cost will not go over $4000 for next three years and replace the car. However, If I can find reliable warranty, I'll probably get it and keep the car for a little longer.
if it includes all electrical components, abc pump, hoses and valveblocks as well as anything bathed in oil - 4500 is not a bad offer.

So, from what you've sent, that's really good coverage.
But, do you have the rest of the contract? Is what you provided from the contract or a brochure or internet synopsis or bullet point list? You want to see the actual contract and give that a good read.
Also, any insight into how they are to deal with, how quickly they pay; SA perceptions; online reviews?
Not trying to undermine what seems a very solid warranty at a fair price, just covering all bases. If it all checks out, I'd 110% go with it.
in particular there is one hose that when it goes (and it often does) it requires big and major pieces of the car to be moved or removed altogether

I'd argue that the excluded "hoses" are those that are "normal maintenance services and parts" since "hoses" is in that sentence as "including". Unless the ABC hoses are "normal maintenance" they should be included in coverage
Similarly, I don't see any exclusion for "wear items", so insofar as the argument is that the accumulator is a "wear item" and thus excluded, it's not there.
This is where the warranty company reputation comes in - are they trying to exclude every "hose" that is in the car, or just those that would fall under the heading of a "normal maintenance service and part" (i.e., those related to the maintenance service)?
I could see a bad actor taking the first position; a good actor taking the second.
Any forum or online reviews of this company?
