2007 S550 Intermittent Starting
My 2007 S550 starts intermittently without warning. Sometimes, without warning, when I turn the key or press the keyless start button nothing happens. In order to get it to start I have open the hood and bang on the driver's side fuse box and then, sometimes, it will start.
I have taken it to the dealer repeatedly and he can find nothing that solves the problem however I have paid to replace the starter, the fuse box, and the relays in the fuse box. At his suggestion I have had the Engine Control Module rebuilt.
Even so, the problem still occurs without warning. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had this problem.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has experienced this problem.

You might have a bad ground somewhere in the vicinity. Or a wonky fusable link.
Have you tried with another key?
And dont bang on the fuse box. Pretty please.
