722.9 valve body check valves MISSING
I disassembled my valve body to give it a thorough cleaning and found I was missing 2 plastic check valves.
Anyone have a scrap valve body laying around or know where I can get 2 of these? It's a long shot but the alternative is a new entire valve body, or leave the 2 out as they were before I opened it.

he had another thread i believe where he added them and made no difference.
i believe the valvebody is reconfigurable for different vehicles and you are not "missing" anything- just your configuration calls for them not being there

Hi
Not if you have documented where they actually go and if no one has been in it before you. In my case I found 2 steel bolts mating the valve body together so someone had been messing with it at some point. I would have taken pictures but the residual oil in the valve body after separation was so black I couldn't see the check *****. Since I had an image why bother right?
In my case I found an image online of where they go and didn't bother to cross check them with mine. They were different. The image that I found online, my valve body and the 2005 S430 from eBay were all different. I could see some but not all the wear marks on the mating surface on mine from the check valves. One of the very knowledgeable members alx warned me not to go here. He also mentioned that they are application specific (filled with check ***** and check valves as needed for the application) . I now agree.
I just filled all the check ball holes and all the check valve holes and prayed.
End result was a very smooth transmission, and a new feature that wasn't there before. I can now pull off in first gear when I put the suspension in sport. I never knew that it was a feature but this could have been because of all the dirt in the valve body.
Hope you have pictures! If not go shopping on eBay and pray that with all the check valve's in place it will run. I took a leap of faith as I had no other choice and it worked for me. Good luck.

Hi
I do have a few check ***** and check valves laying in the garage that were left over so if anyone goes down this path and needs some I will gladly put them in an envelope. Just not to Sweden.
